The aim of school uniform is to present a smart appearance which promotes a sense of belonging and pride in our school. It is therefore important that this is considered in all aspects of appearance. There is a strong tradition of support for school uniform at St Katharine’s which we wish to maintain.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

• Navy and gold tie*

• Navy v-necked jumper or cardigan with school logo*

• White blouse/ shirt

• Navy tunic (Early Years, Yr1 & Yr2) or grey regulation trousers / shorts

• Navy skirt (Yr3 - Yr 6) or grey regulation shorts / trousers

• Grey socks with shorts or trousers

• White socks or navy tights with tunic / skirt

• Summer dress (blue vertical stripe) - optional for summer term and first half of autumn term

• Black shoes (NOT trainers)

• Book bag - Early Years, Yr1 & Yr2 - optional for Yr3 – 6*

 

PE KIT

• Navy polo shirt with logo*

• Navy shorts

• Drawstring sports bag

JEWELLERY

No jewellery should be worn. Earrings are not allowed at any time. Parents are advised to get any ear piercing carried out at the very start of the summer holidays so that they will be ready to be removed in September.

ALL CLOTHING MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH NAME TAPES

Uniform can be purchased from Stevensons in Southbourne.  Items such as socks, shoes, shorts, trousers, skirts, tunics/pinafores and shirts can be purchased from any shop.

 

Second-hand uniform is available for anyone to take, a small donation to the school fund would be gratefully received but not essential. Please contact the school office for further information..
